This season has certainly produced some marvelous summer sailing. With record high temperatures on land, the wind strewn Sound has been a great escape from the heat.Yet, the best days of sailing may still be ahead. Late season weekends can host some of the best, most consistent winds. At Barron's Boatyard, sailors are getting the most out of their boats, foregoing winterizing plans and necessary repairs to throw caution to the wind. Old Man Winter is due in soon.
