Our History
Located on City Island, Barron's Boatyard was established as a rowboat rental service, by the late John Barron Sr. in 1934. Over the following seventy years it was expanded to include two acres of marine facility and dry-dock, as well as over five acres of sound mooring and docking. Today, we offer a full range of marine services utilizing the most advanced techniques in the industry.
Our Customers
A typical Barron's member is a knowledgeable and always helpful mariner. As a Barron's member, you are free to mostly do your own work on your boat, and generally use the property for your own needs. Our motivation is to provide the best service for those in demand of it, and to facilitate the most know-how to whomever wants it.
